Justin Marino Roman is an important character in Sweetest Taboo. Originally Sweetest Taboo was supposed to be about Justin (Sweetest Taboo is one of his songs), but that changed when his solo career never took off in 2003. Here are some basics and/or facts about J.Roman.

His full name is Justin Marino Roman; he goes by either J.Roman (the more popular "nickname") or just J (to those few select friends) and of course Justin.

His birthday is May 17, 1979. He is 23 years old when the story begins (2003).

He has dated Angela Sanchez in the story.

His sister is Kaci Roman.

When Sweetest Taboo begins, he is signed to MCA Records as a member of Vi3. During the course of the story, Vi3 is dropped from MCA and Justin pursues a solo career as "J.Roman" (a record label is not available because he recently left Visionary Records/Evident Music Group in 2008).

He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He currently lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his family (they moved after his sister [Kaci] graduated high school).

He is a HUGE Chicago Cubs fan!

He was voted Chicago's singer/songwriter of the year in 1999, that catches the eye of pop super group the Back street Boys and gets Justin and the rest of his Vi3 band mates a tour as the opening act for the Backstreet Boys on their Millennium World Tour. [The part about being voted Chicago's singer/songwriter of the year in 1999 is true; the rest is solely based upon Sweetest Taboo as a slight result of Vi3 touring with Nick Carter on his solo tour.]
