Nickolas Gene Carter is an imporant character in Sweetest Taboo. Here are some basics and/or facts about Nick Carter.

His full name is Nickolas Gene Carter; he goes by either Nick (the more popular "nickname") or Nicky (to those few select friends). Nick also answers to just his last name, Carter.

His birthday is January 28, 1980. He is 23 years old when the story begins (2003).

He has dated Kaley Colecka in the story. There are brief mentions of other girlfriends, mainly Tiffany, but none are actually featured in the story but only mentioned in short conversations.

He is best friends with Kaci Roman.

He has one younger sister (Kimberleigh Marie) and one younger brother (Aaron Charles).

He is signed to Jive Records as a member of the Backstreet Boys.

He was born in Jamestown, New York and raised in Ruskin (a suburb of Tampa), Florida. He currently lives in Miami, Florida and also has a house in Marathon and Tampa, Florida and Los Angeles, California.

His supposed sobriety is NOT a part of Sweetest Taboo.
