I have come to a few decisions.
First, I am back-tracking on my whole idea of having each character have a page. It is way too much work, and every character is not as important to the story as the next character.
There will be certain situations that will be dealing with certain characters...and when that happens, it will be placed in the EXCLUSIVES part of the site. It seems easier to do it that way. And I can change who it is posted by, so that is my plan now, instead of the individual pages. Besides, it keeps the navigation menu nice and clean and set to only one line.
Second, I believe I have found a solution to the photo gallery problem. The only thing I CAN'T do (at least right now -- and that I haven't found a way around it just yet) is have it as a link in the navigation menu. But then again, I can't really add anything to the navigation menu without it going onto another line.
But, the photo gallery can be found on the ORIGINAL website for Sweetest Taboo that I had WAY back in 2003/2004 for the story, which can be found at www.sweetesttaboo.webs.com and it is strictly just a photo gallery. (at least for now -- there's one other thing that you can do on there that I might add to it, but as of right now, it is strictly just a photo gallery)
Please be sure to register for it so that you can comment on photos, etc.
The previous idea of a photo gallery in forum form is going to be non-existent at the moment...because in order for me to add the photos to the forum, it had to have another place to store the photos, and that just defeats the purpose really.
I am trying to concentrate on the story and start writing again because I am running out of chapters! I only have up to Chapter 62 written, so after that, I may not have anything to release if I don't get with the program!
The .PDF conversion is still in the works of happening. I just have to find time to do it while at work! My idea of a chapter a day being converted never became reality, and I still have some fine-tuning to do to the chapters, so I am trying to do that as well.

I am about fed up with the place that I was hosting the photos (yes, it was Weebly).
I am in desperate need of a place that will host the photos and I just don't know what to do!
I have put in a complaint about the photo gallery feature to Weebly, I hope to have an answer by the end of the week. If not, I will be on a fast-paced and desperate search for a new website that has a similar feature!

I am in the process of working on pages for the MAIN characters of the story. They will be hidden and there will be a link contained in the Credits section of the website.
Kaci's page, however, will remain the only character page that will be one of the main pages of the website...the same with Pete's blog.
There will be more information available when it becomes more clear to me about these pages. If I don't like the way they are turning out, I might just not even do this idea at all.

I recently found that I am able to upload the story where it is available for download. I am going to burn the story, chapter by chapter, to a CD and take it to work with me. I can also do the PDF conversion at my parents house, but I don't think that my mother would be happy with me wasting her paper and ink! At work, I can get away with that.
I am going to try and do one chapter a day, and all chapters will hopefully be up and in PDF form by the time I release Chapter 55 (scheduled for a January 2010 release).
As I state in the "Story" section, the decision to have the story available for download in PDF form in NO WAY will result in Carla no longer hosting the story. In fact, she is going to continue to host the story AND host it's sequel, America's Suiteheart.
This is still a work in progress, as is this site, and come January 2010, Yola will be the new host, and hopefully things will pick up with regard to the story. April 2010 will mark SEVEN (7) YEARS I have been working on the story and I would like to get it finished!
Please remember there are still character calls available. Also, if you know Spanish, I have a request for you! If you aren't already in the story, you will be in the story if you can help me out with this Spanish part! It involved previous chapters and Spanish is no longer being used but I still need the translation done for the previous chapters! You can email me at SweetestTabooFic@aol.com

I have been having problems (major problems) with the Weebly website. I had looked into this host before, when I found out that Geocities was closing and well, I ended up going with Weebly anyways. At the time, it had what I needed.
Grant it, this host doesn't have EXACTLY what I need. Two things that are with Weebly and not this host are:
* I can change the blog dates to correspond with the story with Weebly, whereas with this one, I can not change the dates on the blogs.
* I can add multiple pictures at a time to a page on the website with Weebly (and it has a photo gallery application associated with it), whereas with this one, if I want to add more than one picture, it has to be one at a time (to the website, the uploads are multiple) and the "photo gallery" feature SUCKS! Thankfully, I have a photobucket account and can go that route by using a slide show, and the photos will end up on MySpace as well (the Sweetest Taboo one and the one for KaciRoman[dot]com).
I did NOT transfer everything that was on the Weebly website to this one though. Only the major things were transferred (mostly with regard to the Updates section and the Exclusives section) because they are blogs and well, as I said, I can't change the date so that wouldn't benefit me at all.
If I had the money, I would just get an actual domain name, but I don't have the money, so I am stuck with free websites that have some things to benefit me and some things that don't. Right now, because of the problems with Weebly, THIS site is going to be the Official Website for Sweetest Taboo.
I kinda like this one better than Weebly because I can do more with it, design-wise/layout-wise. I don't know, we'll see...

Sweetest Taboo is the story of a young woman (Jessica Kaci Roman) who wants to be a singer and follow in the footsteps of her brother Justin. The story starts on April 24, 2003. I have been working on this story since 2003 and I can honestly say I am nowhere near done with it. The sequel to the story will be titled "America's Suiteheart".
